Symposium "Augmented Spine - Innovation, navigation and adva

Summary

An international symposium focusing on #innovation and #research within the field of augmented reality and spine surgery, hosted by Karolinska University Hospital. The aim is to highlight the latest advances and to disseminate the achievements from one of Karolinska's innovation partnerships with industry.

After the opening by Mr. Ibrahim Baylan, Swedish Minister of Enterprise and Innovation, several international and national authorities will present their research and innovation. Professor Roger Härtl, Director of Spine Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine, New York, USA, will be the keynote speaker.

Karolinska and Region Stockholm have established several innovation partnerships with industrial partners to improve patient outcomes, and this symposium is part of the dissemination of results created within such a collaboration.
